Knitted Mitt workshop package

This is a workshop package to learn how to make a pair of mitts for yourself.

In this package you will recieve:

- 3hr afternoon workshop

- 2 classes to help you finish them off

- Alpaca wool of your choosing

- Quality knitting needles

There are two knitting ones, and two crochet ones, but you are more than welcome to work on something else if you've got a particular ideaa you want to explore.

Each workshop will be tailored to the participants and the results you are wanting to acheive. You will have the choice to work with fine alpaca yarns and needles in stockinette or lace pattern, or thicker needles and yarn for a faster worked project, again in a simpler stockinette or a more complicated lace.

The patterns are designed to be adapted to suit what you personally prefer, to have ribbing, eyelets, lace, thumb gussets, or none or a mix of the above!

Needles and yarn is provided, or you are welcome to bring your own if you have favourites that you like to use. Anything between a 2mm-4mm needles will work fine. And any lace, 3ply or 4ply will work.

You will also have the opportunity to explore knitting with double pointed needles, circlular needles, magic loop oor converting knitting in the round patterns to be worked flat.

There is an enormous amount of flexibility and customisability so that the mitts you end up with suit exaactly what you would like.

You will also have the option to add a strip of crocheted lace to the top if you want.
